I’ve been lazy. Very lazy! I admit and take full responsibility for there not having been a Mammal Monday or Theropod Thursday post last time around, and the latest Mammal Monday being a day late. Let me make it up in part today: here’s an albino cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis) in the Zoo Rostock:
and, for Monday, from the same zoo a group of meerkats (Suricata suricatta).
Previously, I blogged on one very cool meerkat there, and a bit on the lay-out of the enclosure. Now, I just needed an excuse to show the above picture, which looks a lot like it was taken in warm, sunny Africa, not frigid Rostock.
An albino cormorant! Now that is a sight…
